Notes: The Division of Career Services (DCS) oversees the Commonwealth's network of 32

Notes: The Disability Program Navigator (DPN) Program is a program unit within the Division

of Career Services (DCS). The DPN program is a demonstration project which is jointly

funded by the Department of Labor and the Social Security Administration. The program

funds DPN positions statewide and is designed to ensure equal access for disabled

jobseekers into the One-Stop Career Center system.

Notes: New Perspectives is a program unit within the Division of Career Services (DCS). The

unit is comprised of clinical consultants who serve employed and dislocated workers

throughout Massachusetts. New Perspectives provides services that help to eliminate

barriers, improve employability and maximize the potential for all customers of the One-

Stop Career Centers.

Notes: The Reentry and Reemployment Program is a program unit within the Division of Career

Services (DCS). The unit is well positioned to coordinate job placement, job training and

employer services for prisoners. The unit provides soon-to-be-released prisoners an

opportunity to be successful in reentering society by assisting in finding and maintaining

employment.

Notes: The Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board (MWIB) advises the Governor on

continuously improving the Massachusetts Workforce Development system. The Board

is comprised of private sector employers, agency heads, legislators, and representatives

from state and local workforce development entities. There are sixteen (16) local

Workforce Investment Boards in Massachusetts that oversee workforce development

activities in their areas.
