Job Seekers with Disabilities

ETR provides a wide array of services to increase employment opportunities for jobseekers with disabilities, to increase employer awareness, and to develop linkages and collaborate with the employer community to facilitate the job search process.

ETR's Disability Program Navigator is available to assist individuals with disabilities in coordinating services and in navigating the complex provisions of the various programs that impact their ability to gain, retain or return to employment.

    The Disability Resources Monthly Guide (DRM) to Disabilities Resources on the Internet. Provides a detail list of Massachusetts web sites offering resources, services, and technical assistance for persons with disabilities.

  • ForEmployers.com This site uses technology and flexible design strategies (or universal design) to bridge the needs of the business community and the employment needs of people with disabilities. The site provides straightforward solutions and information that address everyday human resource issues, especially as they relate to current or future employees with disabilities.

  • HirePotential
    HirePotential specializes in placing people with disabilities in rewarding, competitive jobs with attractive benefits at leading companies across the country. You can send your resume using their online tool, or view current job openings on their database.

  • JobAccess
    The site allows job seekers to search for jobs and post resumes online, and also allows employers to post available positions.

  • Job Accommodation Network
    Comprehensive information about employing and retaining workers with disabilities, including resources for job accommodations.

  • New England ADA & Accessible IT Center
    The New England ADA & Accessible IT Center provides information and guidance on the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508, and accessible information technology to individuals with disabilities living in New England.

  • National Organization on Disability
    Access current disability-related news as well as a wide range of resources and information about increasing the participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life.

  • Office of Disability Employment Policy
    This U.S. Department of Labor office helps increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through education, training, assistive technology, and awareness programs.
